This is what I tried to draw

This post is continuation to previous post Can you guess what I am drawing ?
So here is the answer. It is homeless old guy. While browsing, I got stuck up at http://www.generasix.com/?p=282. I liked their photography and immediately had a thought of drawing one of their photos. Finally landed up here with these photos and video. It took almost 5 hours to complete this picture continuously without using eraser.

Then I was thinking to have a background score with a very cool music notes for my video, after browsing I got link to Jurg Hochweber (composer of guitar music)  http://www.hochweber.ch/guitar.htm. Thanks to the source of photo and music.

Please leave your comments for better improvement of my drawing skills. Thanks for reading and watching.

  1. very good, it represents a sad person with lot of question marks, i would prefer a melancholy background music and a slow motion of picture rendering to finish along with music ending note.

  3. Iam back here with some Comments & Complements...

Lets touch the bad first so coming to comments :)

-Change the details(Time taken ..used:pencil)to End of the Video(People will Guess & have some expectations after seeing the picture...So u can convey them at last to match with their values)
-I guess u r not using drawing Board..U can avoid the shake in the video by suing board and Tripod..
-Iam unable to open the page 'http://www.generasix.com/?p=282' displaying the errot 'Error establishing a database connection'
& the other part... u r art is excellent as u r able to show the fine art very clearly....Good one Bhaskar...

Thank you very much dude for the keen observation.
For point #1 yes I agree with U. I was not giving any details in my previous videos at http://youtube.com/bmedapati . So, This time I thought of giving some info but I was not having clarity. So I have given some junk at the beginning :)
#2 yes I am not using board and tripod. Will take.
#3 I think their site is down now.

Finally thanks for your valuable and keen interest and observation. May I know who is this really ? please......

  8. The picture is very touching and your attention to address the details is impressive.

One way I'd suggest that may improve the visual appeal is to use smooth transition, rather than the current switch the static frames. Basically, I'm trying to see the emotion is flowing but not jumping. Just like our smile continuously appears on our face and our affection gradually extends.

  18. Super drawing bhaskar. Very nice work without using eraser.

Since you asked for improvements, in your picture his cheeks are little chubby compared to the original. His right side bone doesn't appear similar to the original.
